Dream Oscar Nominees: January 2025

Oscar nominations come out tomorrow, and I’ve seen 103 eligible films (and have dream-nominated 44 of them). I had hoped to see a couple more, but due to sickness and snow storms, I was unable to see The Brutalist or Sing Sing. As with December’s dream nominee update, I’ll be doing my pick for winner followed by my other nominees in alphabetical order and then some bonus picks in preference order, and despite wanting to go off-book, I will be honoring the shortlists. I know many of these have no chance at the actual Oscars, but a boy can dream!
