Spooky season is my favorite season, so this month each Wednesday I will be uploading two reviews since horror is probably one of the most well-represented genres in my collection (partially thanks to a single box set that contains 200 horror movies).
On October 2, I will be posting a classic horror film and its less classic remake, with the former coming from the 1970s (a great time for horror!) and the latter from the 2000s (a pretty dire time).
On October 9, I will be loading one of my favorite horror films along with its decades-later sequel, representing this recent trend of legacy sequels/reboots/whatevers.
On October 16, I will be looking at an all-time classic horror film and its much less time-displaced sequel to see if lightning can strike twice in such quick succession.
On October 23, I will be focusing on a thematic connection—dance party madness! Location is a major part of horror, and there is nothing like some murder on the dance floor.
On October 30, to prep for the big day itself, I will be posting my favorite horror film in my collection as well as my least favorite, leaving the month with a classic game of Rose and Thorn.
