The Movie Room

In the month of September I’ve seen 14 more films from 2024, totaling from 66 films with Oscar eligibility. Two of my Best Picture nominees from last month have been replaced, and I’ve upped the documentaries I’ve seen from 1 to 4. The new movies I watched this month that made the biggest impact seem to be Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Substance, and The Wild Robot, though even Megalopolis I have given one nod to (for now). None of the International Films I have ranked have been chosen by their country, but I will keep them on there until the shortlists have been released when I will abide by their picks. Besides the winner, all other nominees will be listed alphabetically.
